Main Cast

Shiraori / White
Nicknamed “Kumoko” by the fandom; she is reincarnated as a spider monster in the most dangerous dungeon in the world, where she constantly fights to survive and slowly evolves into an incredibly powerful being. After finally escaping, she meets Ariel and eventually makes her way up to becoming the commander of the 10th Demon Army. Initially implied to be the reincarnation of Hiiro Wakaba, she is later revealed to have actually been just an ordinary spider who was in the classroom at the time. She eventually transcends the limits of the world’s RPG system, ascending to godhood and gaining a human form.
Ariel
The current demon king and progenitor of all the spider monsters in the world. The Origin Taratect, Ancient Divine Beast, Ruler of Gluttony and current Demon Lord. She is the progenitor of all Taratects in the System, and thus all spiders can be considered her kin. The Queen Taratects and Puppet Taratects are her closest kin, having wills and personalities of their own, and she does not dominate their personalities with Kin Control. They have served as her closest allies and family for a long time, and she cares deeply for them.

Sophia Keren
